We started teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) classes to local hospitality workers in NYC in 2022 and we are excited to continue this initiative! We believe that language skills are vital for personal growth and empowerment and we will soon be starting our first cycle of 2026.

Our volunteers make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals who often face language barriers. By teaching English, they provide them with essential tools to communicate effectively, gain confidence, and unlock new opportunities.

No prior teaching experience is required—just a passion for helping others and a willingness to share your knowledge. We currently hold in-person weekend classes at La Contenta Oeste Restaurant and adding La Diaspora as an additional location in Manhattan, NY.
